Data Security & Integrity

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is critical to us. Learn how TOXcloud collects, processes, and protects your information.

Last Updated: September 2026

1 Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum required operational parameters needed to distribute and bridge your files:

  • Account Credentials: Email address, user identification token (UID), and encrypted hash passwords.
  • Media Metadata: File title, byte sizes, upload timestamps, and server target endpoints.
  • Operational Logs: Request timestamps, API key verification hits, and remote bridge status signals.

2 How We Use Information

Account and upload metadata are strictly utilized to generate direct streaming endpoints, route traffic across healthy edge proxy bridges, track daily upload limits according to your tier, and provide technical support.

3 Data Security Standards

We implement cryptographic standard hashing (Bcrypt) for passwords and sign session cookies via JWT tokens. File URLs and access keys are bound strictly to your authenticated master account UID.

4 Cookies and Local Sessions

We use standard secure session cookies (tox_token) to verify authentication across requests. No advertising or intrusive third-party behavioral trackers are injected into dashboard views.

5 Third-Party Storage Nodes

Files distributed through TOXcloud may be mirrored to independent third-party storage backends (such as Pixeldrain, Mega, or Telegram mirrors) as enabled in your storage server settings. Each connected provider handles stored byte streams according to their respective infrastructure policies.

6 Your Rights & Data Removal

You have the right to request deletion of your entire account, uploaded links, and related database records. Contact our administrators via our Help & Support page to execute an immediate data purge.
